In just two years the Czech Republic's largest city could become the European Capital of Sport. Prague representatives signed a Memorandum today confirming its support for all levels of sport as part of its candidacy. The city submitted its nomination papers to Brussels in November of last year.
"We want to present Prague as a city that is open to sports activities of all types and get the whole public involved in sports, from children to seniors, including people with disabilities," Prague Mayor Tomáš Hudeček said.
