18-04-17.- ACES Europe has started a new European project with other partners leaded by the Municipality of Valencia under the title 'Teleturf'. This new development is about the maintenance of the artificial turf trough an on line course that will be created by the Biomechanic Institute of Valencia.
The project aims the objective of extend the life of the fields at least two more years which means a saving costs of 750 million euros, the 0,03% of the European GDP. Other objetives: improving the quality of artificial grass sport surfaces along the useful life and the maintenance.
ACES Europe has the mission of the dissemination of the project and the development of the final event which will take place in Brussels in November 2018.

05-04-17.- ACES Europe delegation leaded by its president Mr. Lupattelli were received by the Spanish Sports Minister, Mr. J.R. Lete. In this meeting ACES Europe explained the big network of cities awarded not only in Spain but also in Europe (more than 300).
As Portuguese Government is doing, ACES Europe asked to Mr. Lete for a grant agreement to those cities that will be awarded in the futre in order to develop better sport policies in there taking advantage of the award.
Mr. Lete was committed with the labour of ACES Europe and wants to collaborate with the project in the future. 'We are really happy with the meeting and the Minster who is a men of and from the Sport' said Mr. Lupattelli at the end of the meeting in where General Secretary, Hugo Alonso, Delegate in Spain, Elias Bendodo, and the Sport Concellor of Malaga, Elisa Pérez, was there too.

30-03-17.- ACES Europe and DCH - International Organization of Human Capital Directors have set up a new association, EHCA - European Healthy Companies Association. In order to extend the recognition of the Sport and Healthy Company Award to Europe and the rest of the world, Gian F. Lupattelli, representing ACES Europe, and Juan Carlos Pérez Espinosa, representing DCH will act as co-chairs of this new association.
For its part, ACES Europe since its founding in 1999 seeks to promote sport among all citizens of the European Union, trying to promote private and public initiative in order to increase support for sport, not only from the pro point of view but also a means of social cohesion and for the improvement of the health and quality of life of citizens.
DCH, continues to get in its great interest and relationship with the healthy and sporting companies offering new opportunities to its associates.
As a result of the EHCA and the two related organizations, the European Sport and Healthy Company Award has been presented to the European Parliament in Brussels in November. In this first candidacy, Cofares received the award. This recognition will be given annually in the EU Parliament at the same time of the European the Capital, City, Community and Town of Sport awards gala of ACES Europe.
All those companies that want to participate, can already submit their candidatures since the deadline for this 2017 has been opened. You can know all the details here.
The association not only limits its activity to the European field, but also opens its horizons on the international arena by presenting as well the International Sport and Healthy Company Award, recognition that will be presented annually at the gala held in the European Parliament in Brussels to Non-European companies operating in the rest of the world. 16-03-17.- DG Education, Youth, Sport and Culture of the European Commission organised the EU Sport Forum in St Julian's, Malta, on 8 and 9 March 2017.
The Forum is the main platform for structured dialogue between the European institutions and sport stakeholders. Its main objective is to take stock of progress achieved in implementing the EU agenda for sport and to seek stakeholders' views on current, planned or possible future activities.
ACES Europe was there as every year and also took part in the European Week of Sport meeting as founder partner in where the final dates for the future will not change anymore from 23 to 30th September.

14-03-17.- ACES Europe has witnessed the recent signing of the collaboration agreement between the European City of Sport Alhaurín de la Torre in Málaga and the Community of Molenbeek-Saint Jean in Brussels in collaboration with the Real Madrid Foundation and the Belgian sports school Fire Gym
Alhaurin de la Torre and Molenbeek-Saint Jean, one of the 19 municipalities that make up the region of Brussels, capital of Belgium, ratified a collaboration agreement in the Parliament of Brussels and in the Town Hall of that district for the promotion of integration Social activity based on activities of a primarily sports and cultural nature, also aimed at promoting tourism.
